Prospective Study of the MINERD 2020–2021 Virtual School Year

The MINERD 2020–2021 Prospective Education Study evaluated the virtual education program implemented by the Dominican Republic’s Ministry of Education in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It focused on assessing the expectations and satisfaction levels of key stakeholders in the education sector: teachers, students, parents, and administrative staff. Through interviews conducted in different regions of the country, the study analyzed topics such as technological infrastructure, equipment availability, competencies for virtual education, and perceptions regarding the implementation of the school year in a distance learning format.
